On July 27 2008,  Dominique Ouattara made significant gifts to the rural population of  Gbodonon.  Upon her arrival, Mrs. Ouattara received a very warm and festive welcome in the Senufo tradition and delivered a warm and thankful speech  
She  has offered on behalf of the Foundation :
•     drugs for the health center (valued at 2 million FCFA)
•     5 tons of fertilizer for the production of rice and corn (valued at 2.5 million FCFA)
•     250 pieces of clothes (valued at 1.7 million FCFA).
 After receiving these wonderful gifts,  the villagers  translated their gratitude with songs, dances and speeches of thanks.
