Between August 9 and 14 1999, the massive vaccination operation that was taking place at Kouibly in the region of Man, has allowed 11 surrounding villages to receive medicines and 3000 doses of vaccine against meningitis. A team of 12 doctors and 4 nurses were present to check and educate people about various health conditions and their remedies.  
This campaign took place in the district of Komborodougou and allowed 17 villages to receive more than 4,000 doses of vaccine and drugs.  Over 1800 consultations with 10 doctors and 5 nurses were conducted alongside a sensibilization on  food cleanliness and body awareness.
