The caravan of vaccination against typhoid fever, initiated by the Foundation, took place on Saturday March 14 in the slums of Adjouffou located in the town of Port Bouet.
The ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Port-Bouet Madame Hortense AkaAnghui.
Just like the previous ones, the medical team of Children of Africa, supported by the National Institute of Public Health, vaccinated 1000 children aged between 3 to 12 years.
In her speech, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, President of the Foundation, highlighted the growth of the typhoid fever due to the rising unsanitary conditions in Abidjan.  She urged people to respect the basic rules of hygiene, thus limiting the risk of contamination.
