Dominique Ouattara, President of Children of Africa, made donations worth 6 million CFA francs to one of the poorest health center of San Pedro, located 500 km from Abidjan.
The ceremony took place on Wednesday June 3 in the presence of Mr. Ladji Patrice, a representative of the cabinet of Health.  
This health center built by the European Union in collaboration with the city of San Pedro was named "Dominique Ouattara facility.  It includes a clinic and a childbirth facility. On average, it welcomes 12 women a day for deliveries.
 To assist in equipping the center, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara offered:
 - Boxes of medicines
 - Wheelchairs
 - baskets of toiletries
 - Beds
 - Cabinets
 - Toys
 and a computer for the administration.
a moved Ms. Cissé Nakardja, director of the facility, thanked Mrs. Dominique Ouattara  for this gesture towards the people of "Barbot" considered one of the biggest slums in Africa.
