On July 25 2008, in collaboration with the Association « Hospital Assistance », Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, who was touring the center of the country, offered a large consignment of medical equipment to the Health center of Bouake.  
This event was attended by several political and military figures as well as the Director of the Bouaké Health Center, Professor Boa Yapo, all very happy to receive such donations. Professor Boa Yago indicated that this new medical equipment will be used at the outset of the gynecology department; as the old ones have ceased to be functional for a long time now. In addition to these equipments estimated at more than 50 million CFA francs, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara offered 5 tons of rice to hospital patients
